Where you start

Station Creek campground

This is a southern-zone walk, not a Minnie Water woodland stroll. Do not confuse with similarly named tracks in other NSW parks.

How to get there

  1. Coffs Harbour north ~49 km, McPhillips Road to Station Creek. 2WD-typical to the campground.
  2. Official alerts (13 Sep 2026): McPhillips Rd closed 14–25 September 2026 — use Barcoongere Way. Logging trucks remain listed when that road is open.

How to do it (step by step)

  1. Walk the signed loop along Station Creek estuary. Carry water anyway.

Southern woodland, not central

Official: 2.3 km loop, Grade 2, 45 min–1 hr 15 min from Station Creek campground upstream along the estuary through corkwood and scribbly gum.

This is the short walk you do if you are already at Station Creek. Logging trucks use McPhillips Road. The Station Creek canoe launch / viewing platform is removed until replaced.

Estuary etiquette

Station Creek matters for little terns and other shorebirds. Stay on the signed loop. Drive only where the official map and signs allow if you are in a vehicle later.

Extra tips

  • Pair with a Station Creek camp night. Station Creek canoe launch / viewing platform is removed until replaced.
