Common Yuraygir questions
Tap a question to expand the answer.
Is there a day pass for Yuraygir National Park?
Official baseline (checked 13 Aug 2026): $8 per vehicle per day, including motorbikes. Pedestrians and cyclists are free. Annual passes (All Parks $190 / $335 for 1 / 2 years) are separate and do not cover camping. [VERIFY] the live figure on NSW National Parks.
Is camping included in the vehicle fee?
No. Camping is a separate official NPWS booking. Vehicle entry is still required if you drive in. Book only on nationalparks.nsw.gov.au.
Where do I start the Yuraygir coastal walk?
Official start is Angourie Surfing Reserve. Finish is Red Rock. Best walked north to south. Pre-book camps and the Sandon and Wooli boats. There is no commercial boat at Corindi / Red Rock — Wooli is a valid finish if the last crossing is unsafe.
Which entrance should I use?
Three zones: northern (Angourie / Brooms Head / Sandon via Yamba or Maclean), central (Minnie Water / Wooli / Wilsons via the highway south of Grafton), southern (Station Creek / Pebbly from Coffs). Pebbly is high-clearance 4WD and low-tide only.
Is this site official NSW National Parks?
No. This is an independent unofficial guide published by Farming Domains (Ian Piggott). For alerts, track status, camping and official rules use NSW National Parks only.
